At a chartered hall of the Corporation held yesterday, Mr. Alderman Newcomb was nominated to fill, for the second time, the office of Chief Magistrate for this borough.
Committed to gaol at Boston, John Francis, of Langtoft, laboring banker, charged with stealing, from the Green Dragon yard, five couple of fowls, the property of a dealer named Fordham, Spilsby.
